Overview

This position, Sales Team Lead, is primarily responsible (65%) for prospecting, qualifying and closing new business within BNC’s Texas operations. In addition, the Team Lead will manage a team of 2 sales professionals (25%) through leading, coaching and guiding revenue attainment goals in the markets we service.  The Team Lead will also participate in driving our sales strategy (10%) with senior leadership and department heads.   This Team Lead is an important member of the BNC sales and leadership team and works closely with nearly every part of our organization. In this position, the right individual will generate a sizable income, build an exciting and rewarding career, and directly influence the growth of the company. This role is a “Hunter” position with management experience working with a small team.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Overall responsibilities are 65% focused on your personal new sales, 25% emphasis on Sales Team Leadership and 10% coaching/sales strategy.
  • Directly engage in your sales activities, including lead generation, customer meetings, and closing deals.
  • Ability to find new business opportunities through successful sales experience and existing understanding of the Dallas market.
  • Lead other team members in achieving sales quotas and targets.
  • Support effective sales strategies, training programs, and team development initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback to team members to ensure continuous growth and improvemen
  • Respond immediately to inbound sales leads and meet with prospective customers.
  • Develop technical proposals based on discussions with potential customers
  • Manage a pipeline of business in our CRM and consistently meet or exceed close ratios and other sales performance quotas
  • Build strong relationships with new customers to ensure their successful transition into the BNC fold, to develop additional work opportunities, and to generate new referrals

Qualifications

WHAT WE WANT TO SEE

 

  • 4-year degree
  • Minimum of 4 years selling IT and/or professional services in the SMB space
  • Understanding and consistent track record of success in finding new business.
  • Prior experience as a team lead or sales manager
  • Must be based in the Dallas Area
  • Strong understanding of Managed Services, outsourced IT support and cloud-based software solutions
  • Similar experience within the Dallas area with keen understanding and existing relationships, a plus.
  • Conversational knowledge of a broad range of technologies used in the SMB space
  • Experience writing and delivering proposals to C-level executives
  • Ability to generate new sales leads through referrals and networking activities
  • Experience with SalesForce.com or other sales platform CRM
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)

COMPENSATION

$210,000 + at Goal

 

LOCATION

This is an office-based role with time in the field.
