Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for growing BNC’s pre-sales pipeline, booking meetings for regional account managers and developing relationships with potential customers. This BDR is an important member of the BNC team and works closely with nearly every part of our organization. In this position, the right individual will generate a sizable income, build an exciting and rewarding career, and directly influence the growth of the company.

OTE Earnings: $65,000
 

 

Responsibilities

  • Utilize CRM and lead-generation tools to research and develop an outreach strategy for new prospects
  • Build and maintain a robust lead pipeline that meet BNC’s ideal prospect description
  • Utilize a multi-channel approach for outreach (phone, email, etc.)
  • Build strong relationships with prospects to ensure their successful transition into the BNC fold
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
  • Set up meetings or calls between qualified (prospective) clients and Regional Account Manager

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in business or related field
  • 1-2 years in sales or sales support role in the IT and/or professional services field
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-channel cold outreach
  • Strong understanding of Managed Services and outsourced I.T. support
  • Experience working with lead-generation software (Navigator, LeadLander, 6Sense, etc.
  • Ability to generate new sales leads through referrals and networking activities
  • Familiarity with SalesForce.com or other sales platform CRM
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Impeccable time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Inherent desire to learn and grow in the sales field
