Systems Engineer

Since 1997, we have been providing enterprise quality network design, computer support and IT consulting services to companies in the Denver, CO and Dallas/Ft Worth markets, and are now expanding into the Austin business community.

We are seeking a dynamic Systems Engineer who has demonstrable knowledge and experience working with complex, heterogeneous IT environments both on-premise and in the cloud. We consult with clients in a variety of industries to help them plan, upgrade, and advance their IT environments forward while also supplementing their day-to-day IT needs. • 5+ years of installing and administering Windows Server environments (Windows 2008 - 2019)
• 3+ years’ experience migrating and managing Office 365 and/or Google Workspace (GSuite)
• Hands on experience deploying and managing cloud computing environments including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
• Experience deploying and managing VMware ESXi 5.5 - 7.0
• Experience working as an independent consultant or with a consulting company balancing multiple clients’ needs and priorities
• Ability to proactively identify improvements for existing IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and security enhancements
• Ability to plan, propose, and execute projects with minimal oversight
• Experience working with small and mid-sized clients in person, on the phone, and via email
• Clear understanding of networking technologies including routers, firewalls, switches, etc.
• Experience with monitoring services and handling afterhours on-call emergencies
