Overview

We are a 50 person, fast-paced, highly energetic IT Consulting company located in the Design District area of Dallas with a second office in Denver.  Business Network Consulting (www.bncsystems.com) has been providing IT project services as well as supporting the entire IT infrastructure of businesses in and around the Denver area since 1997, and in Dallas since 2007.  We are seeking a VP of sales and marketing who can take our proven brand to the next level.  You will be the most senior management resource in the Dallas office and will report directly to the CEO as a key member of the leadership team.  The team has typically consisted of a marketing manager, a sales rep in Dallas, plus a second sales rep in Denver.  We want to expand the sales team to at least 5 members in the next two years.  You will be a crucial piece of driving overall corporate strategy in addition to keeping us in sync with ever changing market demands.

BNC is looking for a VP of Sales and Marketing who has experience growing teams and developing top performers for our offices in Denver and Dallas.  If you have previously built and implemented scalable processes and strategies that have successfully grown organizations, have coached and developed people who have gone on to achieve further success, have proven experience increasing year-over-year revenue, and have successfully represented your organization with lead referral partners, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Working out of our gorgeous new office in Dallas, you will lead a team of professionals dedicated to driving B2B sales in the markets we service.

Coaching and skills development are a key part of this role. We are rebuilding our sales team and initially you will be managing inbound opportunities in addition to working with our full time internal corporate recruiting manager to fill open sales rep positions.

What We Want You To Do

  • Manage the day-to-day sales, marketing and recruiting departments
  • Act as the lead management resource in the Dallas office
  • Work with the CEO, COO and VP of Engineering on strategic initiatives and overall corporate strategy
  • Lead a team of Sales professionals in day-to-day activity to increase closure ratios and to manage pipelines in a high growth selling environment
  • Oversee our marketing manager who supports the activities of the sales team with campaigns, content and advertising
  • Collaborate with the team to create and execute on innovative prospecting strategies to penetrate accounts and manage referral partners
  • Deliver on financial growth plans for each region
  • Ensure the sales processes and methodologies used are effective in helping to grow the business
  • Enthusiastically represent our solutions to our lead referral partners and local associations
  • Travel to our Denver office on a quarterly basis to meet with your team and our partners

Qualifications

What We Want To See

  • 7+ years’ managing a sales team, experience in 2 organizations would be a plus
  • Experience in the IT Professional Services industry
  • 3-7 years’ experience in Lead Generation, Sales, Marketing and/or Business Development (ideally selling services)
  • Strong understanding of Managed Services, Cyber security, Cloud-based software solutions (AWS, Azure, O365, etc.) and an inherent desire to keep up with the world of emerging technology
  • Strong phone and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Experience working with SalesForce.com or other CRM
  • A self-starter with strict attention to detail, drive, self-confidence, and resourcefulness
  • Vision, positive attitude and ability to think outside of the box
  • Analytically minded and able to engage with and utilize others to deliver targets
  • 4 year degree, MBA would be a plus
